1. The US have diverse climates and distinct feature in each region, which support producing variety of products. For example, the southern part of the US have mild climate which can support farming, and they can also produce coal and oil there; in the western part, they can do mining, ranching, and logging.The US also surrounded by ocean, the Pacific and Atlantic ocean. It is a major advantage because it helps transportation (shipping by sea is cheaper), fishing, natural gas and form a defense line from other countries. There are also abundant amount of rivers and minerals. River is a very important factor for a country, it helps planting crops and plants. Large quantity of mineral such as silver, diamond, zinc, etc could be sell a very high price. With the advantage of nature, the US has become a successful country.

2. Vietnam is surrounded by ocean, that is a very big advantage because it supports trading and fishing. There a thousand of species live in the East sea (Pacific ocean) make fishing an effective way to gain money. There a lots of river run through Vietnam, and it make Vietnam have the advantages in agriculture. With the right temperature and humidity, it is the perfect condition to plant crops in Vietnam. Rice production is the most important industry in Vietnam, without it, Vietnam would not come this far. The land in Vietnam is filled with natural resources like bauxite, copper, coal, steel,etc. Making Vietnam even wealthier. There are many ways nature have aided the development of Vietnam.

-Rich in natural resources
-Lots of rivers
Differences: -Climate in both place is different
-The US have wider range of physical feature.

Assignment #1

1) I travel a lot over the summer. First, I went to Nha Trang with my dad's company, we do lots of activities there. like soccer, swimming in the middle of the ocean, etc. Then I went to China with my family, I was so amazed with the enormous size of China.I visited a lot of places, including the great wall of China and many more huge constructions, it's a very good place to visit. After that, all my cousin from foreign counties came back, we went to the middle part of Vietnam. The most memorable thing there was Phong Nha cave, it was fascinating. In the end of the summer, we went to Vung Tau to relax and have fun.

2) I'm not very interested in social study, because it's boring to me. But I expected there are lots of physical games and funny stories, it helps me learn more effectively. What I'm not expected is very hard and long projects which I have to stay awake until 1 a.m like last year. Also, I don't want long, boring classes.
